Support can include (but is not limited to):

Arranging food parcels, food vouchers, fuel vouchers for gas and electricity.

Sourcing clothes for adults and children.

Arranging translation services where English isn’t a first language.

Providing access to legal advice.

Liaising with landlords (for example, if there are rent arrears and you are threatened with eviction).

Sourcing essential household items and digital equipment.

Money and debt advice, including help to apply for benefits.

Holistic therapies, including yoga.

Employability, training and volunteering opportunities

A cup of tea and a chat (there’s a lot to be said for a brew and a natter!)

Centre 56

Support for children

Centre 56 is unique for so many reasons. But the main one is that, alongside our support for families in crisis, we provide an Ofsted accredited nursery and after school / school holiday childcare provision.

Our highly experienced and qualified staff are trained to support families and children who have been affected by domestic abuse or a crisis situation. We provide a safe and secure environment that helps children flourish.
