This Christmas, Centre 56 is calling on your kindness to donate to our Light Up A Christmas Tree fundraiser.
We are a charity based in North Liverpool, that supports women and children who have suffered, or are at risk of, domestic abuse or a crisis situation.
We offer a safe and secure environment to help women and children develop by providing childcare and support for young people aged between 2 and 14 via our nursery and after-school club, Pivvy.
It costs around £4,000 per week to run Centre 56, but the support the families and children receive invaluable. It is a safe-haven and the only place of its kind in the North West, but our funding relies on the generosity of people like you.
Claire Essame, Centre 56 Service Manager, said: “The festive period can be a very difficult time for many of the families we work with, but your support can help us make Christmas special for all of our children and families.”
We are asking for your kind donations to help “light up” our digital Christmas Tree and leave a festive message for the children and their mums to read on 25th December.
With donations starting from just £5, you can choose to switch on a light, hang a bauble or add the top star.
Last year our Christmas tree raised over £650 and this year we are looking to top that, with a goal of £1000!
Please share our fundraiser on all of your social media pages, add Centre 56 on Facebook, follow Centre 56 on Twitter and use the hashtag #Centre56LightUp
All of your money will go towards helping families access the services they need, so they can recover and thrive.
