Donate school uniform to help families in our community

At Centre 56, we’re running a school uniform collection to support the many families we know who are struggling this year, but we really need your help!

Do you have any good quality school uniform that you no longer need?

Maybe your little one has had a growth spurt recently and never really got the chance to wear the pinafore you got them? After the year of on and off home-schooling due to COVID, maybe your child didn’t get much of a chance to wear their winter coat or PE kit?

Any donated uniform will be available throughout August on donation rails at the front of our building to support families in need.

For that reason, we ask that all donations are in good condition, whether it was worn or brand new, as this will be worn by a child in our community, and we want to ensure they go into school feeling happy and comfortable.

We are looking for all Primary school aged sizes but are especially looking for 4-7 years for the following items:

  • Shirts
  • Trousers
  • Skirts
  • Dresses
  • Jumpers
  • Shoes
  • PE Kit
  • Coats

School specific:

  • Kirkdale St Lawrence
  • St Francis De Sales (Infants & Juniors)
  • St John’s
  • Arnot St Mary
  • Bedford
  • Gwladys Street
  • Our Lady Immaculate

If you can help, please bring them to our centre by Friday 13th August

Our centre is based on Rumney Road, Liverpool, L4 1UB and is open 8.30am to 3pm over the summer holidays if you’d like to drop off your donations.

Get in touch with our team if you'd like to find out more about dropping off your donations or browsing the items we’ve collected on 0151 727 1355 or email

For the time being, we are unable to collect any donations but should this change, we will update you on our Twitter and Facebook
