The new website has a fresh, friendly and modern design, and makes use of our brightly coloured branding.
Claire Essame, Service Manager at Centre 56, said: “Centre 56 has needed a new website for some time, and thanks to funding from the National Lottery’s Community Fund we’ve finally been able to afford it.
“We wanted a new website to raise our profile and to show people what fantastic services we provide to people who have been affected by domestic abuse.
“We hope our new website will reach more people who need support, but don’t necessarily know that we are here to help”.
The new site is easy to use and has lots of information about Centre 56, including domestic abuse facts. It also has a ‘hide page’ button which can quickly close down the website.
Claire said: “We wanted visitors to be able to view our website without the fear of being caught by an abusive partner. This function will give them the peace of mind that they can hide our website if they’re interrupted”.
We hope you like it!
